.Wow! talk about beachfront luxury, it's here! Beautiful Villa, but so much seaweed
First day we had a few problems, but the staff at CBC was awesome. The owner clearly got tired of hearing from us (although the property mgr told us to email him). They worked hard & for 2 & 1/2 days to complete repair (1 was all day on Sunday).
The villa was clean, and the kitchen stocked with everything needed. Our taxi Rolando was so much fun & really made our trip! With loosing 2 days (husband did not feel comfortable leaving the house open with workers coming in & out - and they kept the front door open & unlocked as they had an extension cord to the roof)
We missed out on a couple activities we had hoped to check out. Mr. Bugsby & Big Fish had awesome food! Dinghy Dock Bar was a lot of fun. And we enjoyed going downtown for a day. The beach is COVERED in seaweed! Backhoe ran everyday, starting at 7:30am (it wasn't noisy) and stopped most days around 1pm. But it really didn't help. I feel bad for anyone going to St Maartin's to use the beach in this area - because you really could not.
Local Islander's said its been this way for over 2yrs & almost EVERY month. Wish I had known......but at least we had the pool & a beautiful villa. nothing you can do about nature.

A wonderful family vacation that far exceeded our very high expectations!! The villa is stunning and is set on a quiet part of the beach with beautiful ocean views. It is within easy walking distance of three good restaurants and a store where you can buy freshly baked pain au chocolat and croissants as well as groceries and wine/beer. We will definitely be back!

Perfect spot with a quiet spot on the beach right out the back door. Great amenities and helpful people. Beautiful area would highly recommend.
