Hurricane Update Tijon reopened Dec. 15th and business is slowly returning. Rebuilding our house (drone photo left) hasn’t started as we wait for the insurance settlement. Restaurants are re-opening but many hotels and timeshares have a ways to go. Thinking of visiting?  Please do, seeing the island rebuilding is amazing.  And the beaches . . . The USA Today (2/12) listed St. Martin as #2 for "Best Beaches in the Caribbean."

New Website / Free Shipping We’re launching our new website (www.tijon.com) on March 15th and will be fulfilling internet orders from our new warehouse in Arizona.  This means Free Shipping on all orders of $50 or more, or $15 fee to ship if less than a $50 order.  3/15 - Mark Your Calendar!

ReOrder Your Custom Perfume Easy to do so on our new website that launches 3/15.  First, email john@tijon.com requesting we transfer your formula to our new website. You then go to www.tijon.com and search under "products - custom fragrance" by your name and your fragrance will appear for which you can then reorder. Cost is $59 per bottle with free shippingin the continental USA.  You can also have your custom fragrance made into a body lotion, creme, massage oil or home & linen mist.

Heineken Regatta The Regatta is proceeding. Team Tijon will participate despite our boat, the Mirabella, having sunk during Irma. We've found a replacement boat, although a bit smaller.  Date for our sail is Saturday March 3rd.  As of this writing, only a few spots remain. Contact john@tijon.com if interested.

Perfume Names: Nkechi made two perfumes, naming the first “Sensual Innocence” and described it as a naughty and nice scent with a dose of mystery and perceived innocence.  The 2nd perfume, “Your Eyes Only,” was described as mainly used during “cuddle” season; rich and musky to warn up from the cold, it decorates one’s thoughts.

Odds & Ends According to the airline data, the most-damaged islands are all experiencing substantial drops in airlift this winter. St. Maarten is down 62.4%, Puerto Rico down 28.2 % and the U.S. Virgin Islands down 47.2 %.  Les Mardis (Tuesdays) de Grand Case started on Feb. 13 and will run for 4 weeks.   Grand Case Beach Club has announced they'll reopen fully on Oct. 1, unofficially they'll be partially open as of June 1.
