Orient Beach Storm Damage - Gonzalo

Orient beach is famous on one end for about 12 small beach shacks selling drinks and chair rentals and low rates. Many were damaged during the recent hurricane and are temporarily rebuilding. The Government has declared that as of June it will demolish those (located between Kon Tiki and Pedros) and build knew ones a bit farther back from the water. There will be parking and retail shops. They will be leased back to the current owners.
