COVID-19 Travel Entry Requirements & Island Regulations for SXM - Nov 202011/24/2020 - By SMRC 1) Testing Prior to Travel : All travelers to St. Maarten via Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) are required to bring documentation showing a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test with results dated within 120 hours of arrival to the island (last leg in case of connecting flights), OR, effective Nov 25,2020, an antigen test with negative results within 48 hours of departure to the island. Currently, the following antigen tests have been approved: Abbott (CGIA Panbio COVID-19 Ag rapid test), Becton Dickinson (CGIA BD Veritor COVID-19 test) and Roche (SD Biosensor F test). The list of acceptable tests is constantly being reviewed as government continues to seek the most accurate alternatives to the PCR test. 2) Fill Out Health Declaration Form : All arriving guests must completely fill out and print the Health Declaration form online at https://stmaartenehas.com/travel-requirements or www.stmaartenentry.com 4) Princess Juliana Airport Travel Safety Measures : a) Restricted Access: The airport will be limited to passengers and employees only. b) Increased Sanitation: SXM airport has increased sanitation requirements to disinfect all areas exposed to human contact and transmission. SXM airport personnel with direct contact with visitors are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) 5) Facial Coverings : All arriving and departing passengers are required to wear a face mask inside the airport at all times. While on island, face masks are required to enter any businesses including, grocery store, pharmacies, clothing and souvenir stores, banks, and personal services, etc. Hand sanitizing stations are provided upon entering and exiting these establishments. For dining, social distancing is observed between tables. Wear your mask when entering any restaurant or bar and then remove it to eat or drink. All service people wear masks. It is responsible to put it back on when a service provider approaches to protect them. 6) Masks are NOT required on the beach! : We ask that visitors please act responsibly in helping us keep the island as safe as possible. St Martin has very limited hospital facilities so we must be vigilant! Regulations may be modified as needed to keep the safety and health of residents and guests at the highest possible level.
