Jet Blue Adds Boston Nonstops on Tuesdays Starting in Oct.
When double-checking our flights back to SXM this fall, we noticed something interesting: JetBlue has now added nonstops to SXM from Boston on Tuesdays starting late in October. Increasing numbers of passengers who go to SXM for their timeshare weeks try to get there several days earlier to relax for a while before moving into their weeks. Doing this also eliminates the need for them to arrive at the airport on Saturday, always a hectic day there. SXM has increasing numbers of rooms at small hotels, villas, guesthouses, etc. We have a feeling these flights will sell out early, particularly during the coming high season since so many thousands of people want to get to the relative tranquility of SXM and avoid Saturday airport crowds.
