Update SXM Travel Entry Requirements

UPDATE : St Maarten/St Martin International Airport reopening **
TRAVEL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS **
As many of you already know, Princess Juliana International Airport - St. Maarten was due to re-open to flights coming from the USA as of July 01st, but it has been delayed to at least another two weeks .
We have been informed of the decision taken by the Council of Ministers from the Dutch side of the island, to postpone the restart of all commercial flights from and to the USA for 2 weeks, as a result of the escalating increase in COVID-19 cases in the USA, since last Friday.
The decision was taken in the interest of the safety of St Maarten/St Martin residents, given the island’s limited medical resources, as well as the risk of having our borders closed to the French Side.
It is not certain if the travel ban will be lifted on July 15th or to be postponed, but once US flights will resume again, to ensure the safety and well-being of visitors and residents, entry requirements are already in place for visitors to enter Sint Maarten along with other safety measures.
