		"St. Martin, as usual, is a great place to vacation. " We have been to St. Martin 15 times over the past 30 years. Our daughters were married on the French Beach. This time we took our 2 grandchildren, ages 3 and 5 years old, in addtion to our daughters and son-in-law. La Mission was the villa rented by my son-in-law 6 years ago when he and my daughter were married. So the house has alot of meaning to us and now it has a gym and game room. The pool has a gradual slope to the water but no steps to worry about. In fact, the interior of the villa has only a few steps for the children to manage. The bedrooms are equipped with a bathroom, air conditioner and TV. The rooms are efficiently arranged so we were able to be close to the children's room while having adult time in the dining and living room. The house staff was wonderful, helpful and friendly. Each day the house was cleaned and our laundry was done!! The pool was cleaned a few times that week and the grounds with its tropical foliage were looked after constantly. In fact, the house always smelled fresh, sanitized and colorful with beautiful tropical flowers. We never worried about security because of the gated community, in addition to the villa gate, the dogs (which we love) and house staff. The view from the house is magnificent. The construction of the house did not necessitate using the air conditioners too often as we are all environmentally minded. However, we were always confortable. The internet connection was strong and we were able to keep in touch with our colleagues and projects. The beach is a few steps from the house. While the rocks precluded going us from directly going into the ocean, it allowed the children to explore and witness the wonders of sea life close up. No problem, we walked a few villas down the beach to get into the ocean. We love the history of the house, its beautiful french furnature and all the birds, resident iquanas and dogs. 		"Great Place to stay with family with Children" We rented this property twice with our family with children, the 2nd time was even better because the Tv's were updated , the kids could watch their shows while they were relaxing,and they had internet service, which was very important with teenagers, and the staff were very accommadating. The thing I do hope they upgraded since we've been there is the kitchen. Perhaps in the future we will rent this property again we loved the pool, the beach, the BBQ, and the privacy.
