| We decided to rent a villa/house instead of staying in a all-inclusive because we were a group of 5 friends to enjoy a more local experience. We were situated in Simpson Bay, super good location because you are 2minutes away from the main strip with all the restaurants and lounges/clubs and about 10min drive from Maho which is the other main town for restaurants and clubs/lounges. I recommend you rent a car to be mobile around the whole island to be a able to explore the entire island - French side and the capital. One thing we really appreciated was that they had left us a mobile phone with a local number therefore we used it for any local calls - reservations for restaurants, excursions etc. You have a nice view of the Simpson Bay marina with a background of the mountains, with a clean private pool, your own washing machine which the maid does not do your laundry unless it is for the towels but can request her to do it for an extra. I honestly have no complaints about this place, I definitely recommend it. Thank you.
