| Bamboo is even better than advertised. It is a quiet oasis in the middle of a beautiful, multicultural island. The villa is very tastefully appointed with two spacious bedrooms and several open air living areas that invite relaxation and reflection. The pool was wonderful, and we used it both day and night to wind down. The views from the villa to sunsets over the ocean were a constant reminder of why we chose St. Martin in the first place. The staff at Luxury Retreats including Candice and Clea were extremely helpful in arranging everything from private chefs to dinner reservations to culinary tours of the island to tee times in Anguilla to sunset cruises. They went out of their way to make our trip pleasant, enjoyable and hassle-free. In closing, just be aware that St. Martin is a tropical island and mosquitoes are present, especially during the early evening hours. Plan accordingly. We had a wonderful time at Bamboo and can't wait to return to St. Martin in the future.
