This is the perfect villa in the perfect location!

From the view that greets you to its finishing touches, this villa is perfect. It's modern design couldn't be more appealing. The outdoor speakers, beautiful lounge seating, heated pool (should you need it warmer!), and unbelievable vista make outdoor living absolutely luxurious with the highest quality "island feel". The generous sized suites, TV den, game room, and well stocked kitchen make indoor living feel like home (assuming you are in love with your own home!) ... and don't underestimate the value of having a housekeeper who is both dedicated to quality work AND who is a warm, sweet, lovely person! Donna does an amazing job taking care of the house, but she is equal parts caretaking of the guests. Every time your paths cross (assuming you are at the villa between the hours of 9:30 and 2:00-ish, M - Sa) you will be treated to the warmest greeting and an eagerness to make sure that every aspect of your stay is perfect... and it will be!

Beautiful Time

This house has space to spare in a beautiful setting. Great for families and adults only. Pool rocks! Rooms are great with wonderful outdoor showers and tubs. Loved the house keeper, Ms. Donna. She took great care of the family. The chef was Yves and he made delicious meals and provided great company as well. There was a small air conditioning issue, but the issues were fixed appropriately, and they offered a credit for our inconvenience. Would definitely go back again

Perfection

Every single view from this home is perfection. The lines, the window placement, the colors.... we have never stayed in a home that if we were to own.. I would not change a thing. Everyday i commented on how incredibly cool and amazing the owner/designer must be... Those outdoor bathtubs! Pool window! Hammock! Pool! Sliding doors! Sonos system! Purple lounges!I have no words... just the most incredible memories for the whole family. I loved it. Best place i have ever stayed....exceeding other villas, homes, cruise ships.... If you stay in this villa and are not happy and relaxed and at peace... then you definitely have a problem! The view from front door/ and pools edge is life changing!

So Stunning it makes you want to WEEP!

I can't say enough about our stay at Amandara... insane views, stunning house, the location and the breathtaking beauty, the list goes on and on.
The owner has clearly built a passion project as the attention to detail at every turn is breath taking. The pool is perfection and you just want to swim in there all day, gazing at the view. The built in window (IN THE POOL!) was endlessly amusing to the kids as they dove down and waved at the adults in the bar/game area below.
The main house is on one level, and the pool and bathrooms were easily accessible for me (bad knee)- so helpful for me.
Each room has it's own luxurious bathroom and access to outdoor space overlooking the ocean, the two masters have out of this world bathrooms with additional private bathing options outside.
On that note, there is also a separate Bali house with a giant stone tub and massage area that made my stay there the stuff of dreams. (Tip- Add a little hot water a few minutes so the stone warms up before you get in.)
We had lots of fun right on the property- and the kids were in heaven with the volleyball and petanque courts while the adults enjoyed the peace and quiet on the deck.
But right below us was the coolest beach, Bay Rouge, that felt almost private. Wonderful little local shack restaurants (cash only, US dollars ok) with great food and drinks (booze and other) that gave a real local flavor to the location.
On the high end, La Semanna Resort is two minutes away and you can make a lunch or dinner reservation and enjoy that world class facility and beach too.
Other homes nearby are very upscale and not visible. The owners left us a little starter list of suggestions for places to explore on the island that was so helpful and thoughtful- we never would have found my new favorite place on earth, Pinel Island, with out it.
Exploring the island was a wonderful experience, especially with the tips the owner left for us. Each one a gem- it was like having a local show you the best spots in person. THANK YOU!
We will be back! Vital info: Great beds with firm, new mattresses. Quiet. Gorgeous. New, state of the art everything. You have patient with the island as there are occasional power outages and internet irregularities.
Just part of being in the Caribbean, and actually got us off our computers. Great off shore breeze at the house that keeps the house mosquito free, but spray up before you go onto your inner island adventures.

We were very lucky to spend our vacations in the wonderful Villa Amandara. The villa is located in a very highly residential neighborhood, a very private and quiet place overhanging the ocean. Wherever you stay in the villa, you can enjoy the breathtaking view on the sea and its multiple shades of blue and you can't stop thinking about the famous italian song "nel blu dipinto di blu"...
it's like admiring a living painting all day long...brunching in the sunrise and dining in the sunset! The villa is perfect for a group of friends or an extended family. You will enjoy the stunning pool, the Bali bed, the playroom, the petanque, the Baie Rouge beach...
I can only recommend to stay at Amandara, you'll dream about it for a long time...we just want to go back there!

My family and I had the opportunity to spend a week in the most amazing villa I have seen.
Great apartment, perfect location, amazing vue and one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to. Our overall experience was fantastic and we would love to come back!
