Beautiful Ocean Views

My husband and I stayed at Carisma last week and we have always dreamed of staying at a place on the ocean versus staying at a condo that was more landside. Our dreams came true when we found this beautiful place to stay - it looked just like the photos and being on the ocean was wonderful. It was wonderful to spend time on the patio relaxing to the sound of the ocean and also relaxing in the refreshing whirlpool. Paul and Carmen are lovely hosts and were responsive to anything we needed! We will be back!!

Carisma on the Beach

We absolutely loved staying at Carisma in March, 2018!!! Paul and Carmen did a fabulous job on making our stay so enjoyable. The villa is beautiful and we had everything that we needed and more. The view was spectacular on the ocean and the outdoor tub/spa was just what we needed for fun and relaxation. Everything about Carisma was perfect.

Property Is Absolutely Beautiful

We loved everything @ this villa. Paul and Carmen have thought of absolutely everything. Paul met us here when we arrived , very easy to find. Explained what we needed to know and had drinks and snacks for our arrival. We were the 1st people to rent after Hurricane Irma. Whatever damage they may have had was fixed !!!! Wifi so appreciated !!! Laundry facilities on the premises was such a plus also. Not sure we will go back to a timeshare after this Villa experience. The view is so amazing, the wonderful sunset and being right on the beach is my kind of vacation. Paula the housekeeper was very friendly and came twice!!!! Will definitely return to Carisma.

Wonderful Family Vacation!

Beautiful home! Just as pictured and stocked with everything you would need. Setting was so relaxing. Rainbows in AM and sunsets in PM. Great time. Great snorkeling right out the door. Only negative I would have to say if any, is the lack of air conditioning in main living area. Took a couple days to get use to heat but adjusted quite well. Would go back.

Best Place To Stay On The Island

We have been staying on the island for 20 years and this is by far the best and nicest place we've been yet! We will be back for sure! The best part for us, we love the beach, the sounds, the sights, but are not fond of the sand. With this villa, you are literally right on top of the beach, have a wonderful patio with comfortable chairs and umbrellas without having to deal with the sand, unless you want to go down to it. Paul and Carmen have literally tried to put everything you will ever want in the house and have spared no expense in the furnishings they've provided.
My wife spent a lot time researching and contemplating all of the different options. The island is not what we you would expect coming from the USA, so a lot of the things we read that were negative, were not really a negative, just part of the island way of life. The parking lot is small, but on the island, ALL the parking is small. The villa is not fully air conditioned. This again was NOT a problem for us, even during the "high" season and when the temperatures are warmer. The fans in the living room move a LOT of air and even though it was not as cool as one might want, it was still very comfortable. My wife and I sat on the couch and watched the passing ships while enjoying our favorite adult beverages. It was truly relaxing.
My one negative complaint, we had to leave and couldn't stay longer...
Paul and Carmen, thank you for making our 20th anniversary a wonderful experience and we will be returning very soon.

My wife and I stayed at Carisma to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. The villa was absolutely amazing. Paul and Carmen could not have been better hosts and the villa is in spectacular condition. It was fully equipped with everything that could be needed. On several days we never left the villa because the back patio and the view are so amazing. The location is great with many restaurants and bars close by. We are already planning our next trip and would not think of staying anywhere else.

Excellent Choice

We were very pleased with our decision to stay at Carisma. The condo was beautifully decorated and was very comfortable and truly had anything we needed. It was close to many fabulous places to eat and markets to get any sundries you may need. The fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed plus much more. It was very clean which is important to me. We enjoyed the deck most of all with its great views of the ocean and passing boats. We enjoyed snorkeling and beach combing right at the end of the stairs. The owners were easily available for any concerns, but there were not any. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to stay on the Dutch side. This is the one you want.
