| We had a wonderful time! You all really know the island well and did not stir us wrong.
I wanted to let you know a couple things.
1. The homes location as you described is absolutely perfect.
2. The interior of the home has some minor maintenance issues. I wouldn’t say it was necessarily a deterrent but I would definitely say there were many more with this home than almost any other.
- examples: rips in venetian plaster, cabinets damaged, the dishwasher was having issues, the master bedroom a/c unit didn’t work well, there was a problem with the master bath, the televisions in the bedroom didn’t work well, etc.
3). There are only 2 bedrooms in the main house. There are 2 underneath with separate entrances and 1 that has a separate entrance on the side. I thought based on our conversations there were 3 interior. We made it work but I could see where it would be an issue for families.
4). They need instructions within the home about how to use some of the equipment and electricity. All the appliances etc were European. We had no clue how to operate them and after some YouTube videos we figured it out. It made us a little nervous.
5). The outdoor space is amazing. The pool, patios, etc were all first class. I can’t say enough great things about them.
6). We made the shuttle service to and from the airport work. It was very nice and convenient. But the vans were not for families. They barely held us. They ended up needing an extra car for luggage. We were most appreciative.
7). The Dollar rental car was a disaster. They didn’t deliver the car we reserved. Our sons car seat couldn’t be installed in what they brought and it took 3 days to get one that would. We have used them before on the island and had an incredible experience but even Medi commented.
8). The biggest differences we noticed between this vacation and those we have taken with luxury retreats was service on the island. I was sort of surprised about that. Our direct experience with you and Ted I would say was more positive than luxury retreats since you all know the island so well were so helpful.
9). We ordered dinner several nights from fabulous feasts. It was so good and we would absolutely do it again.
I know this may all seem overly negative but we had a wonderful time. The water and weather was perfect.
I would absolutely book again through you and would book the house again (mainly because of its outdoor space and location).
