We are pleased to offer the beautiful and unforgettable La Villa Salee situated on a dramatic oceanfront cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea and St Maarten’s sister islands of Saba and St. Eustatius. Located at the very end of Billy Folly Road in Pelican Key, a popular residential area in Dutch St Maarten, guests have it all! Modern elegance, comfort and privacy, yet are very close to all the fun amenities St Maarten is famous for.
You know you’re someplace special once the property gate opens... from its secure parking area La Villa Salee beckons you to its grand entrance which opens to the spacious foyer and two lounge seating areas, one of which has a large Smart TV, and interior dining areas with seating for 10 guests, and a beautifully designed and equipped kitchen with bar seating. From here you see the huge expansive terrace which offers a massive 18 seat alfresco dining table, and an oceanfront gazebo with more lounge seating, and very private pool with chaise lounge chairs for sun bathing. The villa also has an upper sun deck with additional chaise lounge chairs.
The villa has 6 lovely bedrooms, and 6 ensuite bathrooms, however, there are 2 additional bedrooms in the back of the villa which have ensuite bathrooms but no views and are not the same caliber as the other 6 bedrooms. These are meant to accommodate nannies, security personnel, pilots, etc, or whomever you choose as long as they understand those 2 bedrooms are not equal to the other 6 bedrooms...
The rate is the same whether you use 6, 7, or 8 bedrooms.
The super master is very spacious with queen bed, sitting area, and ensuite bathroom. The 5 guest bedrooms are also spacious and have queen beds with ensuite bathrooms. One of the guest bedrooms has 2 queen beds making the villa comfortably sleep 18 people.
La Villa Salee is derived from the invigorating salty mist that you feel and smell in the air, and is also part of St. Maarten’s history and heritage. “Stay Salty” is Villa La Salee’s motto which pays homage to the island’s long ago salt industry, which thrived in the 17th century as the early settlers arrived to harvest salt from the island’s ponds to export worldwide. This gorgeous, luxurious and private walled villa will allow you and your guests to completely relax, take in the Caribbean sun and vibe, and be close to a plethora of fabulous restaurants, shopping, grocery, bars, and casinos. There are several beaches close by as well: Pelican Key beach is just down the road, Kimsha and Simpson Bay beach are a 5 minute drive, and Mullet Bay beach is about 10 minutes away.
