- Jean Henri, who we wrote about in our book "A Beach Less Traveled," has opened a restaurant, J & J Good Time, in the French Quarter. The European Creole food is delicious and the hosts are the best.
- Former guest of "Le Chateau des Palmiers" in Plum Bay, Donald Trump, recently purchased the nine bedroom chateau for $19.7 million. Donald - welcome to St. Martin!
- The Causeway across the lagoon is scheduled to open December 15th. The island's Rotary clubs have been given tentative approval to host a historic "first to walk the bridge" fundraiser on December 14th.
- St. Maarten has been featured by CNN as one of the top five destinations in the world for beach-goers.
